Capital Campaign for the Restoration of St. Joseph Church

In September 2014, we began a fundraising campaign to raise $3 million
to complete the restoration of St. Joseph Church.

Our parish, which celebrated 150 years of existence in 2014, has been
working on restoring the church for about 15 years.  This final phase covers these major areas:

1) interior restoration of the church, which includes repairing the plaster and restoring the beautiful painted murals, restoring the Stations of the Cross, updating the electrical, updating insulation, etc. THIS PORTION OF THE PHASE IS COMPLETED! Come and see the beautifully restored interior!

2) improving stairwell safety, adding a handicapped-accessible washroom on the main floor,  installing a ramp to the altar, creating a narthex area, and establishing a permanent baptismal font

3) replacing the two belfries which were deemed unsafe due to structural deterioration and dismantled a few years ago

So far, our parish has raised $1,793,922.49 in pledges, but we need your help for the rest!  We can only begin to tackle parts 2 & 3 once we have paid off our loan incurred for Part 1 with the Diocese of London which currently stands at $928,572.85. 

If you would like to donate to our Capital Campaign, we are gratefully receiving donations. Cheques should be made out to St. Joseph Parish with “Capital Campaign” on the memo line. Our mailing address is 9399 Townline Rd, Windsor ON  N9J 2W6. 

Cash donations are always welcome and can be dropped off at the parish office Tuesday – Thursday from 8:30am – 12noon and 1pm-4pm, or in the collection basket at the weekend masses. (Be sure to mark your donation envelope "Capital Campaign".)


Tax receipts will be issued after December 31st so remember to include your name and address with your donation.

November 2016:  Book Launch 

"Images of Faith; Portaits of a People"

A bilingual hardcover full-colour book containing history, interviews, scripture references and reflections for each mural in St. Joseph Church. Sales of this wonderful keepsake and gift idea have begun. Cost is $40 per book. They are available from the parish office.  This is a limited-run publication, so don't delay getting your copy today!

 

 

Hardy Mum Flower Sale
Our annual Hardy Mum Fundraising Sale has returned! Plan now for your fall display with these beautiful large pots of mums available in a variety of colours for only $10 each (taxes included), direct from our local grower - The Bloomin' Gardener.  

Order forms are in the July 16/23, 2017 bulletin with extra forms available at all church entrances.  Volunteers will be available after all masses to collect your order on July 29-30, Aug. 5-6, 12-13, and 19-20.
Flower pick-up will be Thursday, Sept. 7 between 3pm and 7pm in the parish hall.  

Ask your friends, family and neighbours if they want to order, too! It's a bloomin' good way to support your parish while making your yard the envy of the neighbourhood!

Best Ball Format; Registration at 12pm with Shotgun Start at 1pm.
Rib or Chicken Dinner to follow at K. of C., 8965 Malden Rd, LaSalle.
